The Debt Unit can help with a wide range of debt problems. You can either make an appointment or come to the Monday or Wednesday drop-in sessions.


So that we can give you the best possible service and advice please bring with you a list of all the people and companies you owe money to (your creditors).

The following information will really help:


  • The name and address of the creditor
  • The account or reference number
  • The amount you owe
  • A copy of the original loan agreement you signed.

Please also bring with you proof of your income as this will be required if you qualify for Legal Aid. Proof of income could be either proof of earnings or benefits being claimed.
